DJ Mode

One night. One tap per moment.

Your music,
your timeline,
your way.

DJ Mode turns your whole event into big, labeled buttons — one for every moment. When it’s time, whoever’s holding the phone taps Grand Entrance or First Dance, and the exact song you chose starts on cue, fading in smoothly over whatever was playing. No scrolling for the right track. No dead air. No wrong song at the wrong time.

Free to build and rehearse. $49 once, per event, only when you’re ready to run it live.

What DJ Mode is

A soundboard for real life — where every button is a moment in your day, already loaded with the music you chose for it.

Not a playlist you press play on and hope. Not an app full of knobs. A screen of clearly named buttons, in the order your night actually happens, that anyone can run.

How it works

If you can tap a photo, you can run your event.

01

Make a pad for every moment

Processional, grand entrance, dinner, first dance, cake, open dancing — as many as you want. Load each pad with one song or a whole playlist in the exact order you want it to play. Build it from your couch, and change your mind as many times as you like right up to the day.

02

Plug in and prop it up

Connect your phone, tablet or laptop to the venue’s speakers — or any Bluetooth speaker — and stand it on the table. That is the entire setup. Nothing to install, nothing to configure.

03

On the night, tap the pad

The moment arrives, someone taps its button, and the song you chose starts instantly — fading in smoothly over whatever was on. Tap the next one when you’re ready. Everything lands on cue, because you already decided.

Why people use it

The music is the one part of the day nobody wants to improvise.

Hiring a DJ costs hundreds to thousands and hands your timing to a stranger. Handing a friend a phone and a playlist means fumbling, silence between songs, and the wrong track at the exact wrong second. DJ Mode is the third option: you decide everything in advance, and the night just plays it back.

No dead air, ever

Songs crossfade into each other automatically. When a pad runs out, it loops. The room never goes quiet by accident.

No wrong song

Every moment is pre-loaded with the exact track you picked. There is nothing to search for while a hundred people watch.

No training required

Big buttons with plain names. Hand it to a bridesmaid, an uncle, or a fourteen-year-old cousin and they will get it in four seconds.

Fades that match the moment

A processional eases in over six seconds. A dance set slams in over three. Each pad carries its own timing, and you can change any of them.

Words for whoever holds the mic

MC scripts for every announcement, with your names and date already filled in, so nobody has to invent a sentence in front of the room.

A fraction of a DJ

$49 once, for the whole event. No hourly rate, no travel fee, no overtime, no deposit.

Who, when and where

Built for the person who cares most about how the night feels.

Who runs it

Couples planning their own reception. Parents throwing a milestone birthday or a quinceañera. A daughter arranging her father’s memorial. An office manager with an awards night and no budget. Small-venue owners, wedding planners and coordinators who want one predictable system across every event they run.

And on the night itself, almost always somebody else: the maid of honor, the best man, a cousin, the venue’s bartender. That’s the point — you build it, anyone can run it.

When it earns its keep

Any event with a running order and moments that must land: a processional that starts the second the doors open, a first dance that begins when you reach the floor, a slideshow that needs the right song underneath it, a toast that needs the room to go quiet.

Where: anywhere with a speaker. Ballrooms, backyards, barns, church halls, community centers, beaches, rooftop patios, funeral homes, conference rooms. If a phone can reach a speaker, DJ Mode works there.

A reception, run from a phone

“My maid of honor ran the whole reception off a phone on the sweetheart table. Processional, our entrance, the first dance, the party — she just tapped each one and it faded in perfectly every time. Every song was the one we picked, exactly when we wanted it. She read the toast intro straight off the script with our names already in it. It felt completely us.”
